During the past year, whether you realized it or not, we all we're working to improve our Valley and achieved the designation of Valley of Excellence. This is an ongoing program sponsored by the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite. The program defines what a Scottish Rite Valley should be doing, and rates the Valley on Membership, Service and Philanthropy, Leadership and development, and operations.
We have long been an Excellent Valley and now we have been acclaimed as a Valley of Excellence. This award was only granted to 45 of the 97 Valley's in the 13 states of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. Please view the detailed results on our NMJ member center pages under Valley of Excellence.
This award will always be achieved by all of us, but two illustrious Brothers of the Valley of Coudersport deserve unique recognition;
Ill. Steven E. McDowell and Ill. Jerry A. Bish
They both worked tirelessly for the past year. They developed new programs, provided training sessions, assembled information, authored letters, and made numerous phone calls and email conversations to the Supreme Council officers to verify this monumental feat.
Thank you all for the work you do and continue to do!!
